The Hongqiao Digital Trade Industry Alliance was launched on Nov 6 with 52 founding members.
The members include leading enterprises in digital technology trade, digital service trade, digital product trade, data trade, and cross-border e-commerce, as well as professional service institutions, industry organizations, and research institutions related to digital trade.
This new alliance aims to foster government-enterprise collaboration, enhance service capabilities for enterprises, empower industries, and increase social influence. It will focus on integrating and sharing resources across the digital trade industry and other sectors, including technology, market, talent, and activities.
One of the key goals of the alliance is to support its members in leveraging the international professional service resources of the Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District, aiding in their digital transformation and sustainable development. The alliance will utilize the Hongqiao Overseas Development Service Center to help members expand into international markets.
Members are encouraged to play a leading role in the industry and leverage their strengths to establish growth and promotion centers for digital trade enterprises. The alliance also aims to promote industry self-regulation by publishing industry research reports, indices, and white papers.
The Hongqiao CBD has emerged as a global digital trade hub in recent years, and has already attracted over 7,000 enterprises in the digital industry.
