To solidify Shanghai Hongqiao International Central Business District (CBD) as a premier talent hub, the CBD Administrative Committee, alongside local renowned enterprises, hosted talent acquisition events at South China University of Technology and The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) on Nov 14 and 15.
At South China University of Technology, the committee highlighted the CBD's policy support, locational advantages, and the growth of emerging industries. Representatives from local companies shared insights into their operations, future prospects, and job requirements, enhancing understanding and interest in the CBD among students.
At The Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen), the administrative committee and the university's Career Planning and Development Office announced a partnership to promote mutual development in talent cultivation and employment.
The job fairs at the two universities were highly productive, with students engaging directly with recruiters, submitting resumes, and participating in on-the-spot interviews. These events provided students with direct access to potential employers and helped businesses attract high-quality talent.
This year, the CBD Administrative Committee has held similar events at Wuhan University, Hubei University, and Tsinghua University. With participation from a total of 2,100 students, and 67 enterprises offering over 900 positions, the events have garnered over 1,150 resumes. These initiatives mark significant progress in school-district cooperation, laying a solid foundation for the CBD's future development. The CBD plans to continue enhancing global university collaborations to attract top talent.
