The Hongqiao Overseas Development Service Center and the Jing'an District One-Stop Going Global Service Center signed a cooperation agreement on Jan 24 to support Chinese businesses in expanding abroad. The partnership was announced at the 2026 Global Service Providers Conference.
Their goal is to combine resources, build a strong network for cross-border services, and create a platform for business exchanges, which will help local companies grow their international presence.
The Hongqiao Overseas Development Service Center is a major hub for helping Shanghai businesses go global. By working closely with Jing'an's international service resources, the two centers aim to improve services for companies in the broader Yangtze River Delta region looking to expand abroad.
By enhancing cooperation between the government and companies and pooling regional resources, this collaboration marks an important step in making it easier for Yangtze River Delta businesses to enter global markets.
