A mass mountaineering activity was launched on Jan 27 in the Heishipo forest tourism resort of Guangyuan, Southwest China's Sichuan province.

Eight high-quality climbing routes were opened all at the same time in Heishipo, Jianmenguan, Micangshan, Zengjiashan and other scenic areas.

From Jan 27 to Feb 16, participants can choose a route they like for hiking, running or mountaineering and record their progress through the WeChat step tracker.

Each person or a family who complete a route will enter a lucky draw and get a chance to win at most 800 yuan ($125.59) prize.

Residents are able to sign up for the event by following the official WeChat account of the municipal sports bureau and the Sichuan Sports Online, or they can turn to the "Pull-up" mini program or the "Pull-up" App.
