A group of mandarin ducks were photographed playing in Shejian River of Lizhou district, Guangyuan, Southwest China's Sichuan province.

Over 20 mandarin ducks in a variety of colors swam in the crystal-clear water. They sometimes flew a bit, sometimes chased each other, bringing passersby lots of joy.

According to a community worker surnamed Wei, the number of mandarin ducks in the river has increased this year. They appear every morning from 8 to 10 am, attracting many residents.
