The tea gardens in Wangcang county of Guangyuan, Southwest China's Sichuan province, are awash with greenery, as their tea plants have started sprouting.

Wangcang is China's largest producer of yellow tea, boasting a tea-producing area totaling 15,800 hectares, of which yellow tea accounts for 2,733 hectares.

"Every day, there are at least 50 tea pickers working together to meet the tea companies' demand," said Yu Liang, head of one of the tea gardens.

Workers are also busy in tea factories, where processes such as spreading leaves, removing unwanted parts, shaping, stir-frying and aroma extracting are carried out in an orderly manner.
