Tripe business is booming in Guangyuan

During the past two years, Sichuan Zhiqi Food Co reported good sales of tripe, a popular hotpot ingredient, thanks to technology services. 

The company, situated in Lizhou district, Guangyuan, Southwest China's Sichuan province, sold tripes to restaurants and fresh food supermarkets in the Chongqing municipality and Chengdu, capital of the province. The volume of its sales exceeded 150 million yuan ($23.5 million) in 2021.

Noting that there has not been any national standard on tripe processing, Wang Xiaohong, president of Sichuan Zhiqi Food, said that the firm has collaborated with universities and food research institutes on machinery development and construction of workshops. They achieved satisfactory results with the assembly lines. 

Last year, assembly lines for tripe production were completed in an industrial park of hotpot ingredients in Lizhou.

Wang said that the automatic cooking assembly line is capable of producing about 30 tons of tripe per day, fundamentally reducing its labor cost. There is also a smart assembly line for the soaking of tripe. The smart assembly line has been installed with black technologies to make active biological enzyme tender and healthy.

Many retailers were impressed with the high-quality products and sound production environment, and they immediately placed an order while visiting the plant.

According to Wang, his company is planning to further improve the hygienic environment of its workshop and allow its employees to operate the machinery via a remote control system.
