Guangyuan speeds up building of railway logistics hub
Guangyuan, a city of Southwest China's Sichuan province, is accelerating the pace of its construction of phase one of the Guangyuan·Sichuan-Shaanxi-Gansu High-speed Railway Express Logistics Base. It will be located at Panlong township in the Guangyuan Economic-Technological Development Area.

With an area of 29.6 hectares and a tentative investment of 1.127 billion yuan (about $168 million), the project was launched in April 2020 to build a cluster of loading and unloading operational zone and express logistics area.
The project will consist of five functional zones, which cover sorting and delivery, e-commerce storage, e-commerce cold chain, comprehensive services, office and living.
It is expected to be complete in December.
Meanwhile, the city has collaborated with other government departments on building of a passenger-cargo railway line, implementing industrial standards. It conducted investment promotion activities with China Railway Express; JD Logistics; Cainiao, the logistics arm of Alibaba Group; and Sichuan Communication & Transportation Group.
