Foreign media correspondents and photographers participated in the launch of the Photography on the Road in Sichuan International Media Tour in the ancient city of Zhaohua, Guangyuan city, West China's Sichuan province, on July 11.

The tour took the journalists on a journey to experience countries and districts of Guangyuan city from July 12 to 15. It aims to promote the green ecological environment, beautiful natural scenery, and rich Sichuan culture through photos, interviews, and information release of the photographers as well as through the platforms of China News Service, the second largest State news agency in China, after Xinhua News Agency.

To further expand Guangyuan's influence and reputation overseas, the event is expected to promote friendly exchanges and cooperation between China and foreign countries, and build Guangyuan as an international tourist destination.

The event was jointly organized by the Sichuan Branch of China News Service and the Publicity Department of the CPC Guangyuan Municipal Committee.
