Jianmen Pass is an important portion of ancient Shudao, or man-made ancient post roads to Sichuan, where mountains stretch more than 100 kilometers from east to west and a pair of cliffs appear like sharp swords.

"The scenery here is awesome! I am glad to take so many beautiful photos," said Frangce Nadeau, a Canadian photographer and media professional.

"This is my second time to visit Jianmen Pass. I will bring my family members and friends here next time to taste local food," said Zhang Liang, president of a China-based newspaper.

In Cuiyun Corridor Scenic Area, photographers were amazed at more than 8,000 ancient cypress trees which are well preserved and full of vitality.

Jiange county is situated at north of Sichuan Basin, south of Qinling Mountains and Daba Mountain and upper and middle reaches of Jialing River. The county has a history of 1,805 years, with rich historical remains that date back to the Three Kingdoms period (AD220-280).
