Guangyuan agri products sold $850,000 at e-business expo in Hangzhou

Rare mushrooms, honey, tea, preserved meats and other agricultural products of Guangyuan city were favored by the people of Hangzhou city, East China's Zhejiang province, during the EBE China event, an international e-business expo held in the city from Aug 3 to 5.

The sales income of Guangyuan's agricultural products at the expo amounted to 5.7 million yuan ($850,000), including 3.11 million yuan from online sales, according to the city's Bureau of Commerce. 

Guangyuan's counties and districts, such as Cangxi, Jiange, Wangcang, Qingchuan, Zhaohua and Chaotian, organized 14 local e-commerce and production and processing enterprises to participate in the expo. They exhibited more than 420 high-quality products.

Nine companies signed supply and marketing cooperation agreements with Hangzhou's e-commerce enterprises, supermarkets, and community sales teams, and the value of contracts totaled more than 2.5 million yuan. In addition, they have networked with 29 potential clients.

Nearly 40 people from Guangyuan’s commercial departments at city, county and district levels and enterprise representatives took part in the expo's  leadership summits, and e-commerce theme forums, learning about the advanced experience and models of developing e-commerce economy at home and abroad.
