On Aug 30, the 2022 China's Women's Basketball Championship opened in Guangyuan, Southwest China's Sichuan province. Yao Ming, chairman of the Chinese Basketball Association, attended the opening ceremony and declared the games open.

Athlete Gao Song and referee Fang Wenxuan made solemn pledges on behalf of all participators.

The fourth game of the preliminaries - Sichuan Yuandameile versus Dongguan Xintongsheng  - started at 19:30, after the opening ceremony. In response to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, there were no spectators on site.

Both sides delivered impressive performances on the court. In the end, Sichuan Yuandamei came out on top, beating Dongguan Xintongsheng 100-34.

In addition, Wuhan Shengfan got the best of Shannxi Tianze , winning99-68, Hebei Hengshui Lake beat Beijing Normal University 48-51, and Beijing Shougang knocked out Shaanxi Zhuyeqing in their game.
