Jiange county, Guangyuan, Sichuan province, held a series of activities on Sept 23, to celebrate the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival.

At the agricultural product fair, visitors were seen paying for local characteristic chicken and tofu products, which were also displayed on a livestreaming session.

Nine strategic agreements on the promotion and sale of Jiange agricultural products were signed, with the contract amount hitting 80 million yuan ($11.17 million).

In 2021, the total agricultural output value of Jiange reached 8.58 billion yuan, and the county's per capita disposable income of rural residents exceeded 15,000 yuan.

This year, Jiange has cultivated 6,666 hectares of land for soybean-corn compound planting. An investment project of 10 billion yuan in the whole industry chain of high-quality beef cattle was introduced, with the county’s growth rate of beef cattle and sheep ranking first in Guangyuan city.
