In recent years, Guangyuan city in Sichuan province has striven for industrial development propelled by a whole industry chain based on local resources and advantages, along with two major industrial clusters - aluminum-based materials and green home furnishings.

In order to develop characteristic industries, such as food and beverages, biomedicine, mechatronics, clean energy and the digital economy, the city has strengthened investment promotion and opened up green channels for project approval.

The government will also offer initiative services to ensure that 34 key industrial projects will be put into operation within the year.
