Guangyuan, in Southwest China's Sichuan province, is accelerating the building of a high-speed railway express logistics base, which is the first of its kind in the country.

Covering an area of 336,000 sq m, the project has attracted an estimated investment of 1.13 billion yuan. It mainly includes a cargo loading and unloading area and a logistics park that support cargo sorting and distribution and e-commerce warehousing.

"Since November, we have engaged more personnel and equipment in the project," said Xu Luo, a project leader from Guangyuan Communications Investment Group Co, who vows to successfully complete various construction tasks.

Fu Linyuan, the technical director of stilted buildings, said that the construction of Building No 1 will be completed by the end of this month, and that Building No 2 will be completed before Spring Festival 2023.

The team, organized by Guangyuan International Railway Port, Guangyuan Communications Investment Group Co, and Guangyuan Economic and Technological Development Zone, took the initiative to provide door-to-door services targeting difficult problems, and creating a good construction environment.

Upon completion, it will promote the flow of goods among the Sichuan-Shaanxi-Gansu area, the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta, and the Pearl River Delta.
