Village exports clothes to Europe

Ziran village of Chaotian district, Guangyuan, Southwest China's Sichuan province, has successfully exported clothes to Germany, France, Greece and other European countries.

In November 2021, the Guangyuan Qianzhan Garment Factory set up a branch in Ziran village, which has provided local women with free vocational training to boost employment.

Currently, there are 38 female workers in the garment plant, which is expected to receive an average of about 10,000 overseas orders per month.

Xie Lirong, a 51-year-old employee of the garment factory, said that her monthly salary has increased from 1,000 yuan ($145.4) to 3,000 yuan. She can sew over 100 trousers on a daily basis.

According to Jiang Bo, manager of the garment plant, there are also professional workers ensuring the quality of the clothes.

Statistics show that in 2022, the garment manufacturers sold over 80,000 sets of clothes worth 800,000 yuan.
