He Shuping, the city's Party secretary, said that Guangyuan has established comprehensive aluminum industrial chains and become a fertile land for the development of its aluminum industry over the past three decades. It called on enterprises to scale up their investment in Guangyuan and integrate their technological, capital and market strength with local transport, resources and environmental advantages.

He noted that Guangyuan will roll out whole life-cycle services for prospective investors and hoped that they will recommend their business partners to visit and invest in the area.

Chen Xuesen, vice-president of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, urged the city to pay close attention to advanced aluminummatrix materials, fully leverage green energy, and strengthen collaboration on building infrastructural facilities in the Sichuan and Chongqing area, so as to make greater contributions to the green development of China's aluminum industry.

After the ceremony, attending officials also toured the two institutes.
