In 2017, Yan and her nephew raised about one million yuan ($141,633.02) to rent  6.7 hectares of farmland and grow 10,000 units of blueberries.

To better improve the soil quality of their farmland, they visited Wangcang Bureau of Agricultural and Rural Affairs for technical support.

With the fast expansion of their blueberry business, they have provided local residents with employment opportunities.

Meanwhile, their farmland is visited by over 100 people per day.

Yan said that she has won lots of support from local government in the building of infrastructure facilities and added that her farmland is committed to the plantation of green and organic agricultural produce.

She looks forward to the development of her blueberry business to deliver more tangible benefits to other villagers and help them become prosperous.
