A variety of toys produced in Qingchuan county's Zhanhui Plastic Toys Co, Guangyuan, Southwest China's Sichuan province, have been sold to Africa and the Middle East, with the output value exceeding 10 million yuan ($1.42 million).

Tian Juan, who grew up in Sanguo town, Qingchuan county, is the general manager of the toy company.

Tian established the plastic toy factory at the end of 2016, when she returned to her hometown with almost 20 years of work experience in Guangdong province.

Tian left home in 1995 and worked in Dongguan, Guangdong, where she was promoted from an employee to director and general manager through hard work. In 2014, Tian established her own toy factory in Guangzhou.

In 2016, Tian came back to Qingchuan county for a survey, and made up her mind to start a business in her hometown.

"I am very grateful to the Qingchuan county government for the help and support it has provided for so many years. Not only did they provide me with guaranteed loan for starting a business in my hometown, but they also supported me with subsidy funds," Tian said.

Due to our production capacity and high product quality, the company has received steady orders and our output value has continued to increase, she added. In 2022, Tian decided to establish a new factory to expand the scale of her business. 

"With the company, I also hope to help my fellow villagers and groups live a better life. We have 22 employees with disabilities. It can be difficult for those with disabilities to find jobs, and we would like to offer them work opportunities, "Tian said.

"Upon the completion of the new workshop, we will provide more than 200 new jobs", she added.
