Guangyuan, a city of Southwest China's Sichuan province, clinched 59 orders of tea products worth 50.1 million yuan ($7.10 million) at the 12th Sichuan International Tea Expo in Chengdu.

During the tea expo held from May 11 to 14, the direct sales volume of its products hit 1.03 million yuan with 228 orders.

Eleven tea enterprises from Guangyuan brought with them over 300 tea products.

At the opening ceremony of the tea expo, the tea brand of Guangyuan Yellow Tea was selected as one of the most influential tea brands in Sichuan. The yellow-tea township in Wangcang county was rated as one of the top 10 production places in Sichuan.
