Guangyuan, Sichuan province, held a culture and tourism promotional activity with the theme "Let the World's College Students Visit Guangyuan" on June 26 in Chengdu, capital of the province.

This is also to mark the upcoming FISU World University Games on July 28.

"This summer, come to Guangyuan!" Yuan Min, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and director of the Publicity Department of Guangyuan City, extended her sincere invitation during her speech, ahead of the Chengdu FISU World University Games due to kick off on July 28.

With an average annual temperature of 16°C, Guangyuan boasts quiet, beautiful landscapes of mountains and rivers and blends harmoniously with nature.

Guangyuan's delicacies include Lauderbach craft beer, Micang Mountain Tea, as well as local snacks like steamed cold noodles.

We have special offers such as free admission for athletes participating in the Universiade, college students and Chengdu citizens, free tasting events for tea and wine, and many other activities, said Yuan.

At the event, the organizing committee of the Universiade authorized the designated services for the cultural tourism sector, and awarded licenses to franchise partners.

The Sichuan Jun'an Tianyuan Craft Beer Co signed a cooperation agreement with distributors. The Sichuan Provincial Department of Economy and Information Technology awarded the Lauderbach Beer Industry Tourism Demonstration Base.

The event also featured wonderful artistic performances.
