Launched by the Guangyuan International Railway Port Construction and Development Co and the Sichuan Luhai New Channel Development Co, the train departed from Guangyuan South Station and arrived at the destination of Luang Prabang Station, Laos, in five days, completing the more than 2,300 kilometers journey on the China-Laos Railway.

Since the train entered operation, the original transportation time has been shortened to five days from previous eight to 15 days, which greatly reduces the transportation cost of enterprises and improves freight transportation efficiency.

The two companies said that they are ready to increase cooperation, in a bid to promote the Guangyuan China-Europe Cargo train and cross-border transportation, as well as pool resources, reduce costs and increase efficiency to boost the economic development of Guangyuan city.
