The "Explore Guangyuan with Foreign Friends-Trip of Ancient Shu Road, Wellness Zengjia Mountain" event was held in Guangyuan, Sichuan province from Nov 3 to 4, as part of celebration of the 13th Dashudao International Cultural Tourism Festival.

Five foreign teachers along with over 60 international students from New Zealand, Morocco, Indonesia, Thailand and other countries enjoyed Guangyuan's stunning autumn scenery in Zengjia Mountain. They watched cultural performances including the Maliu embroidery skills presentation.

"Guangyuan is one of the most beautiful, peaceful and cleanest places which is home to friendly people and diverse food," said Simo, a Moroccan teacher at Sichuan Guangyuan Foreign Language School, urging anyone who wants to new experiences to come to Guangyuan.

Shu Road, the man-made ancient post roads to Sichuan, has become an important cultural mark of Guangyuan. Zengjia Mountain stands tall with dense forests, fresh air and charming rivers, is now an ideal destination for health and wellness.

After the activity, the expats also participated in the opening ceremony of the Dashudao International Cultural Tourism Festival. It includes the Dashudao-themed tourism homestay photography exhibition and the Zengjia Mountain gourmet week.
