In 1988, Guangyuan reset the festival's date as Sept 1 in the solar calendar. It has been successfully celebrated 35 times, and each time pays tribute to history and honors the culture.

In addition, Guangyuan has always adhered to using the festival as an important platform for promoting openness, cooperation, and shared development. During this year's event, efforts were made to develop the city into a cultural tourism destination and health resort.
