Spring has emerged on Micang Mountain, offering a splendid showcase of azaleas.

To ensure visitors can relish the floral beauty and enjoy a leisurely spring getaway, Wangcang county, nestled in the heart of the city of Guangyuan, Southwest China's Sichuan province, has handpicked four top-notch tourism routes.

Route 1: Hiking and flower viewing tour

In April, in the Yanjing River Canyon, 800 hectares of alpine wild azaleas sprouted buds, and stamens all over the branches.

Here people can hike more than 10 kilometers to the observation tower to overlook the mountain top, or feel the charm of vast mountains and rivers in a courtyard of the local BNBs.

Route 2: Tea-tasting experience tour

Wangcang is one of the top 100 counties in China's tea industry and is renowned as the birthplace of the famous Chinese tea and the origin of yellow tea in the country.

Tourists can experience the fun of picking, frying and brewing tea, savor a cup of fragrant Micangshan tea, and taste a refreshing tea banquet.

Route 3: Rural leisure vacation tour

Indulging in the simple pleasures of fruit picking amidst a rustic mountain village surrounded by serene pastoral scenery.

As night falls, tourists can just unwind in the soothing hot springs of Luting, and let the natural minerals seep into their skin to dispel fatigue and invigorate the body.

Route 4: Multidimensional study tour

Along the route, people are expected to encounter the Mumen Military Meeting Site red tourism destination, explore the Micangshan National Nature Reserve and Yanjing River Forest Park, and delve into intangible cultural heritage projects.

This route seamlessly blends the beauty of nature, human history, and cultural heritage, offering profound research opportunities.
