The Vienna Soloists Chamber Orchestra held a concert in Guangyuan city, Southwest China's Sichuan province, on April 23, featuring classic musical works by Frederic Chopin, Johann Strauss I, and Dmitri Shostakovich.

During the performance, Chopin's "Piano Concerto No 1" evoked a sense of romance and tranquility; "Voices of Spring" by Johann Strauss II depicted the scene of the Earth rejuvenating and snow melting, immersing people in a lively ambiance; and "Waltz No 2" by Dmitri Shostakovich contained a subtle melancholy within its sweet melody, which was both mesmerizing and thoroughly entertaining.

During the encore, Johann Strauss I's "Chinese Galop" was light and cheerful, and called forth feelings of joy.

The orchestra also performed "Jasmine Flower," a Chinese folk song. The charm of both Chinese and Western music surprised the audience and they hummed along to the melodies.

Amidst the prolonged and enthusiastic applause, the elegant and pure classical music concert came to a close.
