Wang has a passion for photography and always carries a camera on his patrols, ready to capture unexpected moments. His subjects often include his companions and the wildlife they encounter.

On March 29, he and fellow rangers from the Motianling Conservation Station captured rare footage of a courtship between two wild giant pandas. The scene unfolded in a mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forest at an altitude of 2,270 meters.

According to Wang, early March to mid-April is the courtship season for giant pandas in Tangjiahe. To record this rare scene without disturbing them, Wang trekked over mountains and ridges for more than an hour to find the best observation point.
