The culture and tourism authority of Southwest China's Sichuan province has announced six new provincial-level tourist sites, and Yueba tourist resort in Lizhou district, Guangyuan city made the list of mesmerizing spots, which was released on July 26.

Yueba, often referred to as "the place closest to the moon", is renowned for its unique alpine wetland environment. The wetland ranges in elevation from 1,420 meters to a peak of 1,917 meters above sea level, and covers approximately 48.67 hectares. The area has a forest coverage rate of over 90 percent.

Yueba enjoys a mild climate, with an average temperature of around 14 degrees Celsius and a pleasant summer average of 23 degrees.
