Teams from all over China produced a thrilling spectacle at the Sichuan-Shaanxi-Gansu-Chongqing Sports Dance Open Competition in Guangyuan in Sichuan province last week.

Running from August 14 to 15, the competition featured a combination of national standard dance and sports dance, presenting a refreshing aesthetic form and artistic charm. Participants showcased the best in sports dance through music and movement.

The city of Guangyuan is aiming to use the event as a springboard to promote community fitness activities and nurture more sporting talent.
