High school education
High school education brings in the original textbooks and education evaluation system from British Columbia, Canada. Teachers with qualification certificates from British Columbia teach students English, mathematics, physics, chemistry, science, sports and arts, while Chinese teachers teach Chinese, politics, history, geography and humanities and arts.
It has built up a Maple high school graduate credit system approved by both Chinese educational authorities and the Canadian government. It arranges an individual schedule for each student, respecting each student's personality, hobbies and future goals.
The school adheres to an examination system of integrity, and the students' class performances, attendance, assignments, social practices, community activities, interest groups activities, and consular courses account for 60 percent of the final scores, while exam scores account for 40 percent.
It attaches importance to students' ideological and moral education, as well as patriotic education, and strives to cultivate the abilities of management, leadership, planning, communication, and entrepreneurship. After completing the required courses, students obtain both the British Columbia provincial high school diploma and the Chinese high school diploma.
The graduates do not need to take the college entrance exam in China and may apply directly for all overseas universities taught in English with their high school graduation credits. Maple Leaf Education has truly realized the integration of two languages, two cultures, and two ways of thinking. It has laid a solid foundation for cultivating international elites, seamlessly linking students with the globe.
The overseas studies service center gives students the guidance of studying abroad as well as a visa application service, and has had a 100 percent success rate with visa applications for six successive years.
The school holds an overseas universities admission expo in November each year, and there are currently more than 1,300 Maple Leaf high school graduates studying in world-renowned universities. More than 50 percent of them were admitted to the top 100 universities around the world. As of May 15, 2017, 10 had been admitted to the top 10 universities in the world.
