The core area of Jizhou's ancient city covers an area of 415,000 square meters, with abundant tourist resources including Dule Temple, the White Pagoda Temple, and others. The ancient streets and alleys in the area are well-preserved, and the 450-meter-long Yuyang Ancient Street, along with Shimenkou, Tadong, and Taxi Hutongs, form spatial connections with numerous cultural and tourism resources.

In December 2022, Dule Temple and the Drum Tower area were designated as historical and cultural blocks in Tianjin. In October 2023, Yuyang Ancient Street was selected as part of the third batch of national-level tourist leisure blocks, laying the foundation for stimulating tourism consumption vitality and building a leisure vacation brand for the region.

Over the years, Yuyang Ancient Town has continuously enhanced its capacity for integrating business, tourism, and culture, strengthened its cultural innovation and creativity, and empowered commerce through immersive tourism experiences, so as to revitalize the charm of the ancient town.

In 2023, a series of events, such as Yuyang's New Year Shopping Festival, Drum Tower Light Show, weekend music parties, and other night-time activities have formed the "Jizhou model" of the integrated development of business and tourism, enhancing the cultural appeal of Yuyang Ancient Street.

In 2024, Jizhou will further carry out comprehensive activities and expand its influence as a national-level tourist and leisure block.
