Xingang Subdistrict is located at the easternmost part of the core area of Binhai New Area, adjacent to the Bohai Sea and in close proximity to the Dongjiang and Free Trade Zones. The administrative jurisdiction of the subdistrict includes the Nangang Port Area and Beijiang Port Area, benefitting from its strategic geographical location. It encompasses 15 communities and is home to a population of approximately 67,000 residents.

As the largest port in northern China, Tianjin Port holds a pivotal position in the development of the New Area, Tianjin City, and the broader strategy of coordinated development within the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.

The sector has witnessed substantial growth in terms of the number and scale of service-oriented enterprises. With the opportune timing of Tianjin Port's application for a Free Trade Port, there exists tremendous potential for the development of industries such as smart ports, logistics and warehousing, intelligent manufacturing, and port services.
