The commencement ceremony of teaching equipment shipment for the Tajikistan Luban Workshop, the first of its kind in Central Asia, was held in Jinan, capital of East China's Shandong province on May 20.

Shandong is the hometown of Lu Ban (507-440 BC), a renowned Chinese carpenter, craftsman and engineer. A local enterprise, the Shandong Dolang Technology Equipment Co, undertook the cross-border equipment transportation for the green energy training center of the workshop.

Li Qingbin, Party chief of the Tianjin Urban Construction Management & Vocation Technology College, said that the Tajikistan Luban Workshop will strive to cultivate high-quality international technical and skilled talents who meet the needs of Tajikistan's economic and social development and to promote people-to-people cultural exchanges between China and Tajikistan.
