The opening ceremony of a faculty training course for Luban Workshop in Kazakhstan was held recently at Tianjin Vocational Institute, North China's Tianjin municipality.
Fifteen professional teachers from the D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan Technical University attended the one-month teacher training program at Tianjin Vocational Institute. The training program includes 20 courses with a total of 160 hours of training content, in three course modules: fuel vehicles, new energy vehicles, and intelligent connected vehicles.
Important and difficult issues related to talent development, discipline construction, and curriculum standard development have been discussed during the training.
The Luban Workshop in Kazakhstan is a benchmark for education cooperation between China and Kazakhstan. It provides strong professional and technical personnel support for high-quality joint building of the Belt and Road initiatives of the two countries.

Professor Liu Bin, former president of Tianjin Vocational Institute and chairman of the Luban Workshop Construction Alliance, gave a special lecture on the theme of vocational education in China and construction practice of the Luban Workshop after the opening ceremony.
