The Kyrgyzstan Luban Workshop, a collaborative effort between the ZUWREP and Kyrgyzstan National Technical University, aims at empowering technical professionals in multiple fields, such as water conservancy, hydropower, electrical engineering, roads and railways.

This training platform integrates academic education with ongoing professional development, with a view toward globalizing Chinese standards and technologies while also nurturing technical talents for Chinese enterprises operating overseas.

Designated as the lead Chinese institution for constructing the Kyrgyzstan Luban Workshop in May 2023, the ZUWREP has effectively harnessed its expertise in digital education to advance the project's development.

"The emergence of smart education, a pioneering concept in the digital era, has brought about a profound transformation in traditional educational paradigms," said a spokesperson for the university.

In addition to smart classrooms, a range of experimental equipment pertaining to water conservancy, electricity and machinery is also slated for shipment to the workshop and is anticipated to be operational by autumn.
