Colombia's first lady visits Tianjin’s Luban Workshop museum

Colombia's first lady Verónica Alcocer has led a delegation to Tianjin as part of an official trip to China.

During the trip, the delegation toured the Luban Workshop Construction Experience Museum, where they gained an understanding of the construction process, core values and faculty training at the Luban Workshop project.

The delegation praised Tianjin's efforts to promote high-quality vocational education abroad, contribute to the Belt and Road Initiative and enhance international cultural exchange. Alcocer said she hoped to strengthen vocational education cooperation between Colombia and China.

In addition, the delegation experienced the vibrant landscape along the Haihe River and explored the historical architecture in the Wudadao area – also known as the Five Avenues.

Alcocer's visit to China was organized at the invitation of the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs. During the Tianjin leg of the trip, the delegation was accompanied by Huang Chunyan, vice-president of Tianjin People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries.
