The Qinghai Tibetan Medicine Culture Museum, aka the Qinghai Tibetan Culture Museum, is the only comprehensive museum in the world themed on Tibetan medicine and culture. Covering a total construction area of nearly 50,000 square meters, it is composed of two wings and is home to 50,000 collected items. While the southern wing focuses on Tibetan civilization, painting and architecture, the northern one is home to nine exhibition zones that create a panorama of Tibetan medicine history, medical thangka, medical equipment and samples of herbs. The museum, as a result of years of endeavor, has become an essential platform highlighting the glorious Qinghai-Tibet Plateau civilization and Tibetan culture.
