An exhibition of movie posters opened on Jan 8 at Shenyang Xinle Ancient Ruins Museum in Shenyang, the capital of Northeast China's Liaoning province.
Hosted by Shenyang Palace Museum, Shenyang Xinle Ancient Ruins Museum and Jiaxing Museum in East China's Zhejiang province, the ongoing exhibition is being held to mark the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC) this year.
The exhibition presents a series of movie posters from the 1970s to the 1980s, including posters from nearly 90 classic revolutionary movies that are familiar to the public.
The exhibition is themed on revolutionary history and aims to showcase how the CPC leads Chinese people to overcome difficulties and move forward.
It will run until May 5, according to the museum.
