The main session of the World Internet Conference (WIC) Nishan Dialogue on Digital Civilization took place in Nishan, Qufu, Shandong Province on June 26.

During the session, Chen Xudong, chairman and general manager of IBM Greater China, said that the qualitative change of AI is accelerating following decades of quantitative accumulation of algorithms, computing power and data.

Chen also expressed his anticipation for the emergence of more "Chinese wisdom" and "Chinese solutions" within the AI industry chain, highlighting the potential for innovative contributions from China.

The topic for the main session is "Building a Secure and Trusted AI".
