WIC holds Nishan Dialogue on Digital Civilization

The World Internet Conference Nishan Dialogue on Digital Civilization was held in Nishan, Qufu, East China’s Shandong province, from June 25 to 27. Representatives from international organizations, internet companies and industrial institutions held discussions on the new achievements and prospect of AI development.

The Mobile World Congress (MWC) Shanghai 2023 opened on June 28, with the theme “Velocity.” This is the first complete onsite MWC in four years, and the 10th anniversary of MWC Shanghai.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China recently released a new version of rules for radio frequency division, which is set to be implemented on July 1. The newly-revised rules will be the first in the world to apply 6GHz frequency range to 5G and 6G system. 

Low-quality AI-generated websites boom thanks to ads

A news website rating tool NewsGuard released the monitoring results of false information of June 2023, pointing out that 141 brands were advertising on low-quality AI-generated websites.

According to an American automobile engineering company, the upgrading of future Tesla cars will enable their assembly time to be shortened by 25 percent.
