Roser Almenar: The younger generation must lead the digital future
Roser Almenar, a PhD candidate in AI & Space Law of University of Valencia, Spain, shared her reflections at the 2025 WIC Wuzhen Summit.
She described the summit as a vital platform to discuss, build alliances and connect with global leaders, fostering international cooperation for a shared digital future.
Roser emphasized that young people must take the lead in shaping the digital era—staying engaged, communicating actively, and moving forward with determination to build an inclusive and sustainable digital future for all.
The World Internet Conference (WIC) was established as an international organization on July 12, 2022, headquartered in Beijing, China. It was jointly initiated by Global System for Mobile Communication Association (GSMA), National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team/Coordination Center of China (CNCERT), China Internet Network Information Center (CNNIC), Alibaba Group, Tencent, and Zhijiang Lab.
