An international freight train departed from Bengbu, Anhui province on June 25 and arrived in Xi'an, Shaanxi province after 38 hours to transfer its freight to the China-Europe freight train heading for Central Asia and Europe. This marked the opening of the Bengbu-Xi'an-Europe international freight train route.
