The newly-built Lianhua Hospital of Xiamen is a third-grade general hospital.

Covering an area of 312 mu (20.8 hectares), the hospital currently houses 501 beds and is expected to raise that number to 1,500 after its second and third phases are completed.

All the hospital's wards are seaview rooms where patients can enjoy the city's beautiful scenery and take a breath of fresh air.

The hospital's outpatient service includes internal medicine, surgery, gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics, ophthalmology, stomatology, traditional Chinese medicine, physical examination and other common services.

Its special departments include painless childbirth, Doula accompanied delivery, swimming care for newborns, painless induced abortions, and pelvic floor rehabilitation.
