Ordos, Xishuangbanna cooperate with Xiamen on culture and tourism

Xiamen in Fujian province recently cooperated with Ordos in Inner Mongolia autonomous region and Xishuangbanna in Yunnan Province to establish an alliance for the development of cultural and tourist cities along the ancient Silk Road.
Ordos was a major city along the ancient Silk Road and Xishuangbanna was the origin of the ancient Tea-Horse Road (chamagudao in Chinese).

With the help of Xiamen's culture and tourism platform, Ordos and Xishuangbanna are able to promote their travel routes and products while also sharing market resources with Xiamen.
Additionally, several major cultural tourism enterprises and scenic spots in Ordos and Xishuangbanna signed strategic cooperation agreements with many key travel agencies in Xiamen to jointly promote the integrated development of culture and tourism.
