XJTU secures approval for four CSC special programs in 2025
All four projects put forward by Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) have been approved by the China Scholarship Council (CSC) for the 2025 Innovative Talent International Cooperation Training Program and the Program for Promoting International Cooperation with Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus.
Three projects received funding under the Innovative Talent International Cooperation Training Program, while another was approved under the Program for Promoting International Cooperation with Russia, Ukraine, and Belarus.
The projects will be implemented over a three-year period, during which 87 individuals, including master's and PhD students, joint-training graduate students, visiting scholars, and postdoctoral researchers, will be sent abroad. The CSC will fund their international travel expenses and scholarships.
To ensure the high-quality execution of these projects, XJTU's Graduate School has launched a multi-channel outreach strategy, expanding awareness of the program. On-campus sessions have been organized to clarify application challenges and provide one-on-one consultations for students. Online sessions will also help students better understand each sub-program, breaking down information barriers, improving application efficiency, and reducing administrative workload.
Since 2017, XJTU has secured 37 CSC-funded talent training projects, covering major disciplines and academic fields. The university remains committed to advancing international talent development and cultivating more outstanding professionals for the nation.
