Harvest season has come for over 5,000 mulberry trees covering the hillsides in Shushan village, Suzhou New District.
The dark reddish-purple fruit on the trees tempt visitors to enjoy a pick-and-eat experience, which costs only 30 yuan ($4) per person and they can get 500 grams of mulberries for free. If you want to pick up and eat more, you can also buy the fruit at the good price of 20 yuan a kilogram.
The orchard opens from 8:30 am to 5 pm every day at 999 Xingxian Rd, Suzhou New District. You can contact Mr Qiao on 18994304676 or Ms Tan on 15151538034.
For your safety, you must show your health code and wear a mask when entering the orchard. Take care of your children as there might be some uneven ground. And for the best taste, avoid eating immature or green fruit.
