Forest World, a new branch of the decades-old entertainment brand Suzhou Amusement Land, will begin trial operations on May 20.
The park, covering an area of 30.4 hectares, lies at the southeast corner of Dayangshan National Forest Park, east of Taihu Lake, and visible from the White Horse Gully Resort.
It was designed to bring in tourists of all ages and provide them with an enjoyable and immersive experience. It offers recreational facilities, float tours, art shows, gardening activities, specialty catering, and creative products.
One section of the park, a commercial area called Forest Town, which combines recreation, exercise, and shopping, is scheduled to open in 2022.
Suzhou Amusement Land, which was launched in 1997 and began being upgraded in 2015, is a complex consisting of Forest World, Forest Waterworld, the Homothermal Water Park, and the Dayangshan Botanical Garden.
Tickets and annual passes (individual and family versions) are now available on the park's official WeChat and various online tourism platforms. A special annual pass for couples, in celebration of the May 20 Chinese Online Valentine's Day, is also on sale, offering admission for the price of just 0.7 yuan ($10 cents) per person per day.

Tourists with their own cars can drive to "Suzhou Amusement Land Forest World" or "east of Fenghuanfeng Rd/Xiangshan Rd". People can also take tram line 1 and get off at Yangshan South Rd, then transfer to the Forest World shuttle bus, or bus lines 357 and 302.
