The seminar on the "How the information and communication industry helps fight the epidemic" hosted by the People's Daily Online was held online on March 6.

Ouyang Ye, chief technology officer and vice president of AsiaInfo Technologies Limited (known as AsiaInfo) attended the meeting.

Ouyang said that in face of the epidemic, AsiaInfo cooperated with the three major telecom operators and rapidly released 16 products according to the five stages of epidemic control, i.e. epidemic perception, epidemic cognition, epidemic prediction, anti-epidemic command and resumption of production.

Speaking of epidemic perception, Asiainfo quickly launched a monitoring system for key areas, an automatic detection system for outsiders, a 3D real monitoring system for sensitive areas, and an automated call-out system for information collection.

In terms of epidemic cognition, Asiainfo launched a macro epidemic information system, a track tracking system for high-risk populations, and an early warning system for infection risk; In the pidemic prediction, AsiaInfo launched an epidemic situation perception system and an infection risk assessment system

In the field of anti-epidemic command, Asiainfo launched an epidemic prevention command vehicle, a nationwide notification system for epidemic situation, a system for determining the compliance with epidemic rules, and a rapid delivery system for epidemic-related materials; in terms of resumption of production, Asiainfo launched related product solutions to improve the efficiency of office automation.

Since the outbreak of the epidemic, Asiainfo has tried its best to ensure the security, stability and efficient operation of the IT systems of major telecom operators.

To support the epidemic prevention and control of Beijing and its subordinate districts and counties, Asiainfo established an identification model of urban floating population and potential populations at risk; improved real-time flow perception and population migration analysis through the "COVID-19 population big data platform"; built the "community-based epidemic information notification and interaction platform" and achieved grid management based on big data.

As of February 10, Asiainfo has provided more than 140 special epidemic analysis reports to the Beijing municipal government, 16 district governments, and some streets.
