The 2022 National Science and Technology Week and the Beijing Science and Technology Week, will set up its main venue in the Green Heart Park of Tongzhou district of Beijing from Aug 20 to 27. 

With the theme of "You and I Walk Together into Science and Technology", this year's event focuses on displaying Beijing's leading scientific and technological innovation achievements during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period (2021-25), and demonstrating Beijing's confidence, courage and vigor in becoming an international science and technology innovation center.

They both include indoor theme exhibitions and outdoor interactive exhibitions. The former event locates technological innovation, and demonstrates Beijing's responsibility for technological self-reliance and self-improvement. 

The latter includes such parts as the City of Innovation, the City of Double Olympics, the Green City, and the Charming Tongzhou, bringing cultural and creative, popular science and science fiction products to the public. 

Meanwhile, Beijing Online Science and Technology Week will be launched on Aug 17 and an appointment channel will be opened for online "viewing, listening and inquiries".
