With the theme of "Open cooperation for a shared future", the 2022 Zhongguancun Forum will raise curtain from Sept 22 to 27.

130 events in six sections, including forum meetings, technology transactions, exhibitions, achievement releases, cutting-edge technology competitions, and supporting activities, will take place both online and offline.

The number of forums this year will reach 60, twice the number of that in 2021. 

The world's top scientists, institutions, and well-known innovative and entrepreneurial entities will be invited to participate in discussions around such topics as artificial intelligence, medicine and health, energy security, and carbon neutrality.

The exhibition area of the 2022 Zhongguancun Forum will be 63,000 square meters, with the cutting-edge technology and future industry exhibition area beingset up in the National Convention Center, with a total area of 22,000 square meters. 

The exhibition will focus on artificial intelligence, integrated circuits, blockchain, quantum computing, cell and gene therapy, hydrogen energy and energy storage, as well as the achievements of the second Qinghai-Tibet scientific expedition.

By Aug 20, the frontier competition section had received 2,525 items. Among them, there are 1,030 innovation competition projects, and international projects account for more than 30 percent.

In addition, this year's Zhongguancun Forum will use new technology, such as Metaverse and blockchain, to create an integrated online and offline participation experience, combining hard-core technology and artistic aesthetics.
